full-service photography & video production
peanut factory studio is a full-service photography and video production company based in hackney wick, east london. we take briefs from brands, agencies and founders — anything from a mood-board to a fully signed-off shot list — and produce them end-to-end. crew, kit, styling, art direction, hair and makeup, catering, post: we handle the full production so you don't have to manage six suppliers to get one campaign shot.

what we mean by 'end-to-end production'
- creative development — we help you build or refine the moodboard, shot list and treatment

- on-shoot production — timings, call sheets, budget management, catering, client hospitality
- post-production — colour grading, retouching, video edit, motion, delivery in every spec you need
- delivery — assets sized and formatted for socials, digital, print, ooh and dooh, ready to go live

we bring moodboards to life
most of our clients come to us with a moodboard — a folder of references, screenshots and pinterest boards — and a vague sense of the world they want to build. our job is to translate that into a real set, a real shoot day, a real batch of finished imagery. we spec the lighting to match the reference, source the props and wardrobe, cast talent that fits the aesthetic and direct the shoot so the finished frames look and feel like the moodboard, only better. no watering-down, no compromise — the daylight studio and in-house crew give us the flexibility to actually hit the brief.
content-day production for brands
one of our most popular production formats is the content day — a single shoot day at the studio that delivers a whole season's worth of finished assets for a brand's social, ecom and marketing channels. content-day packages start from £750 and include photographer, studio, light retouching and 15–40+ delivered images. we design the day around your brief — multiple set-ups, wardrobe changes, product rotations — and hand back a polished library within a week. for brands that need to keep the content pipeline full without running six separate shoots a quarter, it's the most efficient way to work.
campaign + editorial production
for hero campaign shoots, editorial productions and brand launches we run bigger multi-day productions with full creative direction, casting, styling and post. typical set-up: 1–3 days of shoot at the daylight studio and / or on location across london, with 8–20 crew including photographer, videographer, art director, stylist, mua, producer and assistants. we manage the schedule, the call sheets, the catering and the delivery so your team can focus on the client and the creative — not on chasing suppliers.

frequently asked.
- how does a full production shoot with peanut factory studio work?
- you send us your brief and moodboard, we come back within hours with a proposal that covers crew, kit, timings, delivery and cost. once signed off we handle every part of the production — sourcing crew, booking talent, styling wardrobe, prepping the studio or location, running the shoot day and delivering the finished assets. you get one point of contact from start to finish, not six.
- how much does a full production cost?
- content-day packages start from £750 for a single day at the studio with photographer and light retouching. bigger campaign shoots with full crew, casting, styling and post are priced on brief — typically £2.5k–£15k+ depending on scope, crew size, days shot and delivery specs. send us the brief and we'll come back with a tailored quote within hours.
- can you produce shoots outside your daylight studio?
- yes. we shoot in-studio and on location across london and the rest of the uk. a lot of campaigns work best as a hybrid — hero imagery in the daylight studio, environmental / lifestyle content on location — and we can plan, permit and produce both from a single production plan.
- who owns the imagery and usage rights?
- you do. we deliver all imagery with full commercial usage rights for use across your brand's owned, earned and paid channels. we retain the right to feature the work in our portfolio and social channels unless you specifically request otherwise — we're happy to sign nda / embargo agreements before shoot day.
- what's your typical turnaround for production work?
- 5 business days for photography retouching, 7–10 for video edit, 48 hours for headshots. rush turnaround (24–48h) is available on request for a small surcharge — flag it in the brief and we'll build the schedule around it.
- can we bring our own crew and just book you for production management?
- yes — we're happy to plug into an existing crew or agency-led production and just handle the production management, studio, and any missing crew slots you need to fill. see /for-agencies for the agency-facing version of this.
- how quickly can you start a production?
- most productions kick off within 1–3 weeks of brief sign-off. faster is possible for smaller content-day shoots (as short as 3–5 days from brief to shoot day). peak seasons (feb–apr, sept–nov) fill up faster — get in touch as early as you can if you have a fixed campaign launch date.
